Finishing plastic products with high-accuracy machining
CNC machines are used to manufacture a wide range of parts according to customer’s specifications, such as products made from plastic sheets. Our CNC machines include 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machines. 4- and 5-axis machines enable the 3D processing of sheets in a movement range of X 8,000, Y 2,300, Z 1,000 mm with a single attachment point. Suitable transparent plastic materials for CNC machining are polycarbonate, acrylic and PETG.
Laser cutting is a fast and accurate machining method
Laser cutting enables the cutting of plastic sheets in a finished way into a desired shape. It is a cost-effective method to achieve tidy and precise cut results. The laser can be used to cut various shapes, holes, and openings, for example. Laser cutting is a suitable plastic machining method, especially when a clean cutting and shiny cutting edge is a desired result. Suitable plastic materials for laser cutting are acrylic and PETG.
3-axis CNC machine is a perfect cut-to-size solution for processing flat plastic parts. Our machining capacity includes five 3-axis machines which movement range extends to X 3,500, Y 2,200, Z 200 (2,300 x 8,000 mm). The machines have an automated sheet feed-in. Machined plastic sheets are fixed to the table by a vacuum. In addition, nesting and unmanned operations are possible with large machining tables.
4- and 5-axis machining
4- and 5-axis machines are suitable for 3D plastic parts and the challenging processing of plastic sheets. Our production includes two 4-axis machines, one horizontal and one vertical. These machines have an automated platted changer and the capacity for drilling 800 mm deep holes into plastic sheets.
Also, our production includes five 5-axis machines. The movement range extends to X 8,000, Y 2,300, Z 600 mm, and to X 3,500, Y 2,200, Z 1,000 mm. Both the 5-axis and 4-axis machines are robot-assisted. Machined plastic sheets are fixed to the machine table by a vacuum or mechanical means.
