Aikon® is product brand of Aikolon Oy, a Finnish plastics company with over 40 years of experience in product development and plastics processing. The company started in 1985 by manufacturing windshields for snowmobiles, and has since built deep expertise in high-performance plastic processing. Aikolon is also a member of the EPDA – European Plastic Distributors Association.
Part of Arla Plast Group
Since October 2025, Aikolon is part of Arla Plast Group, a leading European manufacturer of extruded technical plastic sheets. Founded in 1969 and listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Arla Plast has production in Sweden, the Czech Republic and Spain, and a distribution unit in Germany, serving more than 1,000 customers in over 50 countries.
As part of the group, Aikon® combines Arla Plast's raw sheet extrusion capability with Aikolon's coating, laminating, printing, thermoforming and machining expertise, giving customers a stronger, more secure supply chain for high-performance glazing.
